i am 99.99% sure this lil one was a domestic who got out could there where people, cars & a dog near by & it just strutted around the street it didn't even flinch a feather but when I got less then a yard away it turned & walked the other way

it was in my mom's neighbood on my walk route (the dog being walked by her owner was Maggie) a boxer but then again she didn't bark she just did a double take LOL

This is a King pigeon, which is a utility (meat) breed.
There are three ways this guy got where he is:
1. Someone's pet, was outside, flew too far/chased away by predator and got lost.
2. Some ignorant, stupid person released him at a wedding or funeral, even though you aren't supposed to release anything but white homing pigeons.
3. Someone bought him from a meat market and released him, thinking they were doing the right thing by "saving his life and giving him freedom"
Regardless of how he got there, it's extremely dangerous for him, and he'll probably end up killed by a predator or starvation/dehydration. Domestic birds do not do that well in the wild, especially big or fancy breeds like these.
